About This Project
Taoyuan Public Library and its’ 36 branches are hosting a monthly gender equality book fair in 2021 March. Which is named: King & Queen Joint Book Fair. The client asks for a meaningful gender-neutral key visual idea. Components of this project:
- Throne: Either queen or king can take the seat and power
- Book: Books lean on the shelf for background, let audiences know what to expect at a glance
- Colour theme: White, gold, and ocher red (gender-neutral)
Both client and I are happy with this outcome. It breaks the stereotype of library events in Taiwan, refreshing and inspiring instead of dull.
