One night panel and exhibition to raise the awareness of food waste in Toronto.
- Situation: While volunteering for various events, I aware of the food waste issue in Toronto.
- Task:
To drag society attention on the food-wasting topic, my team and I decided to hold an exhibition and talk. Ask the artist to share their relationship with food and perspectives of food wasting issue. Meanwhile, invite the experts to discuss how severe the current issue is. - Action:
1. Fundraising, coordinating resource, calling for artists, reaching out to community partners.
2. Carefully plan out the schedule, curation, and executive details.
3. Organize all the related facts and numbers into accessible content pieces, such as infographic and short video. So that the audience can easily consume heavy information and willing to attend. - Result:
